Postgraduate Diploma in The Geology of Yorkshire and Northern EnglandA part-time, online Postgraduate Diploma from the University of York. The programme is aimed at individuals with an interest in geology looking to gain a regional geological understanding with which to interpret larger-scale Earth processes and structures.
The programme is part-time, taught online over two years for flexibility of learning. It is interactive, where students will be part of an active online community. Each Autumn term includes a mandatory five day residential week in York, including practical sessions and field trips as well as the opportunity to meet fellow students and staff, engage in discussion and share knowledge of geology.
